ANOTHER KING – DR. ALVEDA KING

There is another King we should know and remember. Her name is Dr. Alveda King, the niece of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King. She, a Christian and patriot, is yet another model, inspiration for all.

Dr. Alveda King is a strong and passionate Christian. Hear her words:

THERE IS A WAVE OF PASSIONATE ‘COME TO JESUS’ MESSAGES SWEEPING ACROSS AMERICAIndeed, there are those messages urging all Americans to COME TO JESUS. No better answer than that for the problems of this world. The peace and happiness offered by life in and with him is the very best this world has to offer. How good it is that men and women like Dr. Alveda King lead the way in proclaiming this great message. A chip off the old block, to be sure, but a very special evangelist in her own light with her very own calling. No doubt at all about the CONTENT OF HER CHARACTER.

Alveda King goes on to define her mission which includes:

ENDING ABORTION, STRENGTHENING MARRIAGE, AND ACCEPTING GOOD STEWARDSHIP AS A PART OF ECONOMIC RECOVERYThat she says is RESOUNDING across our nation. And it is. There is revival at work. Men and women everywhere are awakening. There is more than in years past a passionate patriotic revival. Men and women realize that there are radical changes at work in our country which will in fact radically change it. They are men and women with character, courage, and honor and say with Frederick Douglass that we intend:

TO LIVE UP TO OUR OWN CONSTITUTIONWe will make sure that every American has the opportunity to pursue the American Dream. Dr. Alveda King has her own dream just like her Uncle Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Her strong pro-life stance led her to produce the JUBILEE FEST. For her, a Christian Woodstock. That was a time of ministry, praise, worship and music for people of all ages. The soul of that Fest now drives this passionate revival wave which Alveda King  feels will have so many COME TO JESUS.  What a great message and what a great spiritual dream she has.

We of course remember Uncle Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. perhaps more so for his patriotism, for his burning passion to see the end to racism and to establish equality for all, and especially for blacks. And, rightly so. But let us never forget that Martin Luther King, Jr. was a REVEREND, and remember at the same time that Dr. Alveda King is also a Reverend. That is, concerned first and foremost with spreading that sacred message:

Would that there were so many more like her.

It is clear that there is strong patriotic revival in America. It is a time for restoration, for return to spiritual and Constitutional values of old which made America great. It is time for CHANGE BACK and the majority of Americans believe that. But there is another change-back which is even more important, back to the Bible, the Christian and moral values, to spiritual revival, needed even more than patriotic revival. Men and women like Dr. Alveda King are the modern day instruments of the Lord to make that happen. We are blessed that such missionaries and visionaries are among us. We should heed their call and would that all mankind in fact:

ALMOST ALWAYS, THE CREATIVE DEDICATED MINORITY HAS MADE THE WORLD BETTERCarry on in your holy task to end abortion, strengthen marriage and grow good stewardship and all the rest in which you so passionately believe. America needs you and more like you to carry that message to us and the world.
